Two-Piece Chestnut Shepherd's Crook
While numerous walking sticks feature a crook handle, not many can be called a traditional shepherd's crook. This extra long Two-Piece Chestnut Shepherd's Crook features a classic crooked handle, strong chestnut wood shaft and a metal ferrule, ideal for use in the countryside. Unlike most classic country walking sticks, however, this one comes with a joint in the middle, so you can easily unscrew it and transport it in two parts.

Two-Part Structure
Extra long canes are charming and useful for walks in the countryside, but they can also be quite a hassle to store and transport. This cleverly designed Chestnut Shepherd's Crook consists of two pieces with a joint in the middle that can easily be unscrewed to disassemble the stick into two easy-to-store parts.
The Crook
The crooked cane was traditionally used by shepherds when herding their flock, as the crook handle makes the stick easy for the shepherd to wield, and can also be used for catching sheep around the neck. Today, crook-handled walking sticks are still highly popular for hiking and particularly loved by bramble pickers. This extra long version is fitted with a joint in the middle, so that it may be unscrewed and transported in two parts, which is convenient for travelling.
Chestnut Wood
This long country stick is grown from coppiced chestnut wood, as chestnut is one of the trees that responds very well to this method, which is still commonly practised in Great Britain. This type of wood is known for its strength and durability, making it the ideal material for walking sticks.
Ideal for the Countryside
In the British countryside, a rustic walking stick is an indispensable accessory, carried by people of all ages. With its modest design, convenient crooked handle and metal ferrule that provides a safe grip when you are making your way through mud, stinging nettles and brambles, the Two-Piece Chestnut Shepherd's Crook is the perfect everyday walking stick.
Please note that due to the natural sourcing and manufacturing process the length of this walking stick may vary slightly from product to product.
