The thumbstick is one of the most traditional British handles that gives any walking stick a classic, country appeal. This rustic country stick was made using the coppicing method, which means that it was formed from the shoot that grows when the upper part of a young ash tree is removed. The Ash Thumbstick Hiking Stick is grown in the woodland of the manufacturer in Somerset, England.
Ash wood is renowned for its intriguing pattern, great durability and high abrasion resistance. This gives the Ash Thumbstick a very unique appeal, typical for naturally grown sticks.

Combi Ferrule
This Hiking Stick features a combi ferrule, which means that there is a rubber ferrule fitted over a spiked one. This way, the stick can safely be used on both hard and soft surfaces, making it ideal for diverse hiking terrain.

UK delivery is FREE for orders of £40 and over. For orders below this threshold, delivery will cost a flat fee of £4.95 (including VAT).

We use the Royal Mail postal service - as well as other trusted couriers - to deliver our items. This means you'll receive your order as quickly as possible by a trusted delivery provider.
