Deluxe Thermal 12% Silver Fibre Winter Gloves for Very Cold Hands and Raynaud's Disease

For those who suffer from extremely cold hands in the winter, you'll be all too familiar with the uncomfortable and painful fingers that occur when exposed to the cold. To hep you manage your symptoms, the Deluxe Thermal 12% Silver Fibre Winter Gloves for Very Cold Hands and Raynaud's Disease use the power of silver thread to retain heat, in turn keeping your hands and fingers warm and improving circulation.

Which Size Is Right For Me?

Quickly find the correct size Deluxe Silver Gloves for you by choosing from the three available sizes below:

  • Extra Small – Normally suitable for children, or women with smaller than average hands
  • Small/Medium – Normally suitable for women with average sized hands or men with smaller hands
  • Large/Extra Large – Normally suitable for men, or women with larger sized hands

For a More Precise Fit...

If you've got a little more time, our product experts highly recommend taking one quick measurement using a flexible tape measure. Simply relax your hand and measure the circumference of the widest area of your palm (normally just below the knuckles). Once you have your measurement, please consult the sizing chart beneath to select the right size for you.

Glove Size Palm Circumference (cm)
Extra Small 16.5 - 18cm
Small/Medium 18.1 - 23cm
Large/Extra Large 23.1 - 28cm

Sizing Top Tip

  • If your measurement falls near a sizing boundary, gloves on both sides of the boundary are likely to fit you. Select the larger size if you prefer a looser fit and the smaller size if you want a closer fit.

How Do Silver Gloves Work?

These seamless Silver Gloves contain 12% silver fibre, 50% more than its 8% Silver Fibre Gloves counterpart, converting more of the naturally occurring thermal energy of the human body into gently warming far infrared (FIR) heat. The textile fibres in the gloves are also much better controlled so that the majority of the silver thread is woven inside the gloves and rests directly against the skin, making them even more effective.

Additionally, the silver gloves also help with numbness, tingling and pain that commonly occurs where there is a constant cold. They have been designed to reduce perspiration and also have an antimicrobial fabric, making them more hygienic when compared to some of the other best gloves for cold hands.

Silver Gloves Top Tip

To get the most out of your Silver Gloves, our product experts strongly recommend warming your hands before you put your gloves on. Hands that are already warm help the silver inside trap and reflect even more heat, ensuring your hands stay warm and toasty when you're out and about!

Will these Winter Thermal Gloves Work with a Touchscreen?

Yes, due to the conductive nature of silver fibre, these gloves will work with the majority of touchscreen devices. This allows you to use your phone and answer calls, all while keeping your hands toasty and warm! Please note that a small number of customers report difficulty using certain types of touchscreen devices while wearing these gloves.

What Do The Silver Gloves Feel Like to Wear?

The Deluxe Silver Gloves are made from fine combed cotton and pure natural silver, making them soft and comfortable gloves even for Raynaud's sufferers. As they shape to your hands, wrists, and fingers with ease, they allow you to keep your hands feeling warm without compromise to your dexterity.  The cosy cuffs have a finish that protects the integrity of the gloves so you can wear them in comfort time and time again.

Can I Drive Wearing The Silver Gloves?

These Silver Gloves can be worn while driving. We would, however, recommend ensuring that you are comfortable before using the gloves for this purpose.

Are These Good Typing Gloves?

As the silver gloves conform to your hands well and don't reduce your dexterity, they're perfectly fine as typing gloves for cold hands.

Are These the Warmest Gloves?

If you're looking for ways of how to keep hands warm, then it's natural that you'll want the best thermal gloves around. As silver gloves retain and reflect natural heat, these provide high warmth for your hands! For an even better effect, these gloves can also be worn as glove liners under your regular gloves, improving the efficacy of both your silver gloves and your regular gloves.

Can I Wear These as Gloves for White Finger?

White finger, also known as vibration white finger (VWF) or hand-arm vibration syndrome (HAVS), occurs following continuous use of vibration equipment. The symptoms for this form of secondary Raynaud's can be reduced with the silver gloves.

How Do I Wash the Silver Gloves?

The Deluxe Silver Gloves can be hand washed at temperatures of up to 30°C. They can then be air dried away from sources of heat.

Please note that the gloves are not suitable for washing with detergents or for ironing.

are they grippy?
Rating:
24 October 2023  |  Nigel

are the gloves able to firmly grip my stick or bags in all weather conditions?

Was this helpful to you?  Yes  /  No

Response:

Hi Nigel,

These gloves are designed primarily for heat retention, and while you can grip objects comfortably while wearing them, they won't enhance your grip.

If you're looking for warm gloves that provide you with some extra grip, I'd recommend the Ejendals 517 Winter Hiking Gloves. These gloves are great as they're warm, waterproof and grippy, but not as bulky as other winter gloves.

I hope this helps!

Kind regards,

Elliot at Health and Care
