Bought to make the negotiation of steep, slippery paths common in our part of the Mendips a bit safer now that age is creeping on. It’s been perfect, giving me back some of the confidence of youth. Honestly it would be good for anyone of any age.
Brilliant product just what we needed thank you
What’s not to like. Looks and feels great and an absolute bargain. Will be ordering again.
Brilliant walking staff for the muddy fields and slippery mud.
Nothing like a good, stout stick. Have arthritis in right knee and much prefer this to a 'normal' walking stick. Not too tall, has some heft and nicely made/finished with a lovely colour. Mine is arrow straight with no kinks. Be aware that when new the stain will come off a little on wet hands (at least it did on mine as raining on first use). Debated knocking off a star for this reason, but impossible to fault otherwise. Overall, it's a great bit of kit. It would be difficult to find a better one, especially at this price. Will be a constant companion from now on.
I ordered this chestnut hiking staff as a stop-gap until I make my own, however, I am really impressed with it so am now not in so much of a rush to make one! In fact I have just ordered a second one for my wife because she was jealous!
Nice weight, balance and finish for a fine looking walking staff with an understated rustic charm.
Good quality material, good standard finish. Good price. Prompt delivery by Royal Mail. All as hoped for.
Perfect. Exactly what I wanted.
Lovely walking stick & is just the job for me ,having a new hip & waiting for the other one to be done. It helps to keep your back straight not like the cane I used before. It is sturdy but not heavy Highly recommend this for those who love a good walk. The delivery was spot on.
Very well made, strong and sturdy,
Arrived next day, most impressed with service and product. Highly recommend this site
A very well finished walking stick, ideal for country walks with the dog.
Having problems with my balance, got this to see if it would help when out walking. Yes, it has helped me to walk straight.
I originally bought exactley the same hiking staff from a different outlet and paid considerably more than I have from 'Walkingsticks.co.uk. I lost the rubber end on the original in some sticky ground and came across this site to purchase a spare. Seeing the price I decided to get a second staff to keep in the caravan.
I developed arthritis in both knees two years ago and started to suffer badly walking my Belgian Shepherd dogs. Now with one knee replaced and the other waiting to be done this staff helps enormously. I wouldn't walk the dogs without it. It has additional uses I wasn't prepared for such as providing a barrier between my dogs and other dog owners unruly off lead terriers that think my pack are easy prey.
Even if my second knee gets sorted I'll still always use this staff when walking my dogs or walking on the fells.
